Times are measured at room temperature; heating uses the AC adapter. Loss is measured by cut-back after joining the same fiber type. Results vary with environment, fiber and sleeve; heating also depends on battery condition. Battery testing uses a new battery, power-saving settings and one splice-and-heat cycle per minute at room temperature.
