Description
The Fujikura 100S is a single-fiber fusion splicer for optical-network installation and maintenance.
- Active core alignment for single-mode and multimode fiber.
- Average 7-9 second splicing in SM FAST mode.
- Approximately 300 splice-and-heat cycles per charge under manufacturer test conditions.

- Battery endurance Approximately 300 splice-and-heat cycles under the manufacturer test conditions
- Measurement conditions Times are measured at room temperature; heating uses the AC adapter. Loss is measured by cut-back after joining the same fiber type. Results vary with environment, fiber and sleeve; heating also depends on battery condition. Battery testing uses a new battery, power-saving settings and one splice-and-heat cycle per minute at room temperature.
