Riselink Metal Optical Fiber Identifier - Basic, VFL or OPM Version

Identify optical signal presence and direction during fiber maintenance. Choose the Basic identifier, the VFL version with a red-light visual fault locator, or the OPM version with an integrated optical power meter. All three versions have a metal housing bearing Riselink branding and are supplied in the configuration shown in the corresponding product images.

• Fiber identification: single-mode and multimode.
• Housing: metal with Riselink branding.
• Power supply: 9 V battery; battery included.

Suitability and use limitations

• Choose the adapter that matches the fiber being checked and follow the operating instructions.
• The Basic version does not add the separate VFL or OPM function. Select the required version before checkout.
• Use the VFL function only on the VFL version; use the separate optical power meter only on the OPM version.
• Identification and direction indication do not replace an OTDR trace or a full link-loss acceptance test.
