Description
A Sumitomo ER-10 replacement electrode pair for compatible Sumitomo fusion splicers. Each order contains two electrodes for replacement as a pair. Check the exact ER-10 electrode part number in your splicer manual before ordering.

- Electrode pair only. A fusion splicer, fiber preparation tools and optical fiber are not included.
Suitability and use limitations
- Manufacturer references identify ER-10 for TYPE-39, TYPE-66M12, TYPE-71C, TYPE-81C, TYPE-82C and TYPE-82C+, as well as Q101-series splicers. The current North American accessory list also identifies Q102-CA+, Q102-M12+ and Q102-LITE. For other models or regional versions, use the exact electrode part number stated in the machine's manual. Applications requiring ER-10-200 are excluded.
- Select this part only when your splicer manual specifies ER-10. Do not substitute it for ER-10-200, ER-11 or ER-17. A model-family name alone is not enough to establish compatibility.
- Switch off the splicer and disconnect its power source before replacement. Replace both electrodes together, handle them without touching the tips, and follow your model's electrode replacement procedure. Complete any stabilization, arc calibration and test splices specified by the machine manufacturer before returning to work. Electrode life varies with the machine and operating conditions.
